International Medical Corps is hiring a GBV Manager to lead gender-based violence response, prevention, and risk mitigation efforts in Malakal. This role ensures survivor-centered services, community engagement, and technical excellence across GBV programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead GBV assessments and community-driven planning
  • Build partnerships with women’s networks and local stakeholders
  • Establish Women & Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS)
  • Deliver capacity building and mentorship for GBV staff
  • Oversee GBV case management, SASA! Together, Girl Shine, and Women Rise models
  • Manage GBVIMS and other data systems for evidence-based programming
  • Represent IMC in national coordination forums and advocacy platforms
  • Ensure integration of GBV concerns across sectors and emergency responses
  • Monitor program quality, reporting, and donor compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Gender Studies, Public Health, or Social Work preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in GBV programming, emergency response, and case management
  • Familiarity with humanitarian coordination and protection standards
  • Strong knowledge of PSEA, GBVIMS, and survivor-centered approaches
  • Excellent communication, mentorship, and cross-cultural skills
  • Qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
